Check out these rare photos capturing Angelina Jolie’s youthful days

The photographs taken by photographer Kate Garner of Angelina Jolie in her youth in 1995 are striking and sensual: sharp eyebrows, big dark eyes, and seductive lips.

Jolie was striking a pose with her legs tightly bound together in a photo shoot. In the picture, she appeared with a vacant expression. Although the artwork may seem bizarre, photographer Garner revealed that it was Jolie’s idea to pose in this manner.

“Angelina came up with different poses on her own without needing much guidance from me, including the one with her legs tied together. The photo later became one of the most unique pieces about her,” Garner shared.

These are not the only photos of Jolie from the 1990s. Earlier, Daily Mail released a series of videos showing Jolie attending an acting class around the early 2000s.

Jolie’s youthful photos are currently on display in London, UK.
Back in 1991, at the age of 16, Jolie started her career as a photo model, hoping to make strides in her career.
During the same year, the Hollywood actress revealed that she was battling depression and regularly engaged in self-harm.
Shortly after her modeling stint, she appeared in music videos by Meat Loaf, Lenny Kravitz, and The Lemonheads.
“I felt that way after realizing I couldn’t communicate with those around me. As I grew up, I wasn’t comfortable with others hugging me, even if it was my mother,” she shared.
In her youth, Jolie listened to rock music and learned to dance whenever she had free time. She expressed her desire to become a humanitarian worker.
“I knew very little about the world around me and only cared about myself. I didn’t see myself as beautiful because all I saw were flaws,” she said about her past thoughts.
In 1993, Jolie landed her first role in the low-budget sci-fi film Cyborg 2. Two years later, she starred in Hackers alongside Jonny Lee Miller. The two got married in 1996 but divorced just a year later.
