A few days ago, we received reports of a dog hit by a vehicle that can’t move her back legs. Upon rescuing her, we discovered that she had just given birth, but we couldn’t find any sign of her puppies. We decided to call her Sinead and took her for X-rays. Unfortunately, the results showed that she had a fractured spine, which affected her hind legs’ nerves. However, there might be a chance of recovery with laser therapy, so we conducted seven intense laser treatments in a row. Afterward, Sinead had nine more laser treatments, which resulted in significant muscle and bone growth, but her spine remained out of alignment. Though we’re hoping for her to regain the use of her legs, it’s looking more and more likely that she won’t. Nevertheless, Sinead is now an office dog, and we’ve even tried her with a wheelchair. Despite the trauma she’s endured, she remains a sweet and loving girl.
