Chuckie’s ex-owner had to make the difficult choice of giving him up as they were unable to provide him the necessary care due to his sight deteriorating. Chuckie was only four years old then and had already lost sight in one eye while partially losing it in the other. Luckily, Sidewalk Specials took him in and their vets verified his condition. Despite his blindness, Chuckie still has a shot at a contented existence.
The team responsible for rescuing Chuckie has taken steps to secure a new home for him, where he can receive the proper care he needs. Chuckie is an affectionate canine who enjoys the company of kids, other dogs, and cats, as reported by Sidewalk Specials. Additionally, he can take walks as he follows sounds and shadows.
