A Terrified Canine With a Gaping Head Wound Howls in Pain and Despairs the End of Her Days

Although Michi may seem like an adorable and cuddly teddy bear, her past was far from pleasant. We discovered Michi wandering the streets of Bali with a severe head injury that could have been fatal. Despite our urgent attempts to rescue her, she refused and sought refuge in a sewer. We waited for three hours in the gutter, hoping for any sign of hope or indication of her whereabouts before finally being able to bring her to the veterinarian.
It was then discovered that Michi’s head injury was infested with maggots, leaving us unsure whether it was caused by another dog or a person. Regardless, we knew she needed immediate help.

Our top priority here at Goal Paws’ible is to provide a secure and peaceful haven for dogs in need of recovery, often in our very own homes. Our team devises a customized plan of action catering to the specific health concerns of each individual dog, such as skin conditions, while ensuring they receive a nourishing raw diet enriched with vitamins to strengthen their immune system.

Setting up a consistent routine that includes designated meal times, strolls, and rest sessions helps them acclimate to their new surroundings and promotes a sense of calmness. We have discovered that canines who have undergone significant trauma recuperate at a faster pace when they are in the company of other fully vaccinated healthy dogs. By witnessing the bonds between humans and other furry companions, they learn to socialize and develop trust.

Michi unfortunately contracted parvovirus while under foster care, which is highly contagious and can be transmitted through contact with an infected dog. It is possible that Michi had the virus before arriving at the clinic, or she may have contracted it there. Foster homes must ensure safety and security to prevent the spread of diseases. Fortunately, Michi’s age and immune system helped her survive. The day Michi met Saffron, her new owner, was a heartwarming one, and now they live together in Bali with their rescue dog Garscon. We want to stress that our adoption process involves a thorough screening, including an online application, follow-up communication, and a home inspection to ensure the safety of both the pet and the family.

With this approach, we can rescue a greater number of animals and give them the necessary attention and assistance for their recuperation and growth.
