With its prime location, guests can easily indulge in various activities such as skiing, fly-fishing, white water rafting, hiking, and horseback riding. It’s also a short drive away from popular destinations like Vail, Buenavista, Copper Mountain, and Breckenridge. The house boasts large wood beams throughout and plenty of windows for natural light. While it’s off-grid, guests need not worry as it has WIFI, all appliances except for a microwave, solar power with backup propane engine, and radiant floor heating. The entire house is accessible to guests, except for the garage. The property might not have cell service, but WIFI calling is available, and there’s a landline. Located just two miles north of Ski Cooper ski resort, this house is nestled in a small mountain neighborhood connected by a well-maintained dirt road to Highway 24. It’s 12 miles north of Leadville and 25 miles south of Vail, making it highly recommended to have a car. During winter, all-wheel drive or 4WD is advisable due to snowfall at 10,000 feet elevation.
