About three weeks ago, Laki, a puppy in critical condition, was rescued from the side of a road in Seville and brought to our animal hospital for treatment. Sadly, he was diagnosed with four severe diseases – leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and filariasis (heartworm disease). However, we are happy to report that Laki has made a remarkable recovery since his arrival at our hospital.
As we witness Laki’s progress, we cannot help but express our gratitude for animal rescue organizations like ours. We are a group called “We are Spain,” dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in distress. Our rescue efforts involve rescuing abandoned, abused, and tortured animals and providing them with the care they need to recover. We share our efforts on social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook to showcase how we rescue and provide medical attention to animals in need.
Although our videos are simple, their impact has been immense, touching the hearts of millions across the globe. The overwhelming response from the public has fueled our passion to keep rescuing animals in need. However, like many other animal rescue organizations, we are facing financial difficulties. This year has been particularly challenging due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which has affected the European economies and left families struggling to make ends meet. As a result, many people have stopped donating to us and other organizations, hindering our ability to provide for the animals under our care. Nevertheless, our dedication to these animals remains steadfast, and we will continue to rescue and rehabilitate them despite the obstacles we face.
We are grateful to have had the support of many of our dedicated followers for more than a decade, but we understand that many are facing challenging times. It’s difficult for us to request your help, but it’s essential for the well-being of the animals we care for. We cannot do it alone, and we depend on your donations.
